THE COLLECTIVE VOICE
SUPPORTING BUSINESS TO THRIVE IN COOGEE
FOR MORE THAN 25 YEARS

The Coogee Chamber of Commerce represents the best interests of business in the locality of Coogee, New South Wales. We work hard as a volunteer executive committee to better business in Coogee by:

  • Promoting business activities
  • Providing leadership and advocacy
  • Liaising with all levels of Government to advance business
  • Facilitating knowledge and skills development for business

The chamber organises major events and regular networking groups:

  • Coogee Family Fun Day ran for 25 consecutive years on Goldstein Reserve
  • The Taste of Coogee food and wine festival brings enormous business to Coogee in September since 2013
  • Two regular networking events for members and non-members alike – SmartChat for morning people and Startup Meetup for the night owls

In 2005, and still current today, Coogee Chamber of Commerce protected local business’ and the beach from having parking meters installed throughout the precinct. The only meters you will find in Coogee are in the Randwick City Council car parks.

Coogee has a unique village atmosphere.

This is where the real people live and work.

And where locals come to meet and do business.

Coogee also attracts a wonderful tourist trade.

There are almost 200 retailers and shop front businesses in Coogee and at least three times that number in other businesses: online stores, Airbnb properties, home-based businesses and consultancies.

The business community in Coogee is a rich and diverse one that booms in Summertime but still steadily trades through winter.

Come and do business in Coogee.
